FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME infuses new blood into the mix and continues to provide non-stop action throughout this whirlwind of music, comedy and freestyle rap. FLS uses audience suggestions to spontaneously combust into musical creations inspired by jazz, improvisational comedy and hip-hop.

Since the audience is different every time, the show is never the same: you have to see it more than once to believe it!

C-JACK (Performer)
Chris is currently playing Benny on Broadway in In the Heights. Credits on Broadway include: Simba in Disney’s The Lion King. Regional: Clay Harris in Comfortable Shoes (Jefferson Award, Black Theater Alliance Award nomination ‘03), Happy Mac in Beggar’s Holiday (BATC nomination ‘05). 2007 Drama Desk Award recipient, Outstanding Ensemble Performance.

EVERIMAN (Performer)
Wade Allain-Marcus, began his music career back in his hometown, L.A. and graced the stage of such venues as The Whiskey-A-Go-Go and Knitting Factory. While attending NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he met a fellow artist and formed the up and coming hip-hop duo VAMOOSE. After spending time in Accra, Ghana and being part of the creation of the Cipher Theater company, 5th Project Collective (5P), he directed the workshop of their first piece entitled Quietus. Besides having appearances in the feature films; Friends with Money and Waist Deep, he's got principle roles in Kids in America, MTV's The American Mall, and Antoine Fuqua's Brooklyn's Finest. They are all set to be released this summer and in 2009.

J-SOUL-Performer
James Monroe Iglehart is a San Franscico Bay Area native and is currently in the production of the new musical Memphis soon to be coming to Broadway. James started freestyling at age 12 after seeing the legendary Run-DMC in concert in Oakland Ca. for the first time and the hip hop bug bit him and the rest is history. James is also involved with the upcoming new version of the classic educational kids show the Electric Company.

LIN-MAN (Performer,)
LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA recently won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Original Score for In the Heights. He wrote the first incarnation of In the Heights during his sophomore year at Wesleyan University, CT. Off-Broadway: In the Heights: nine Drama Desk nominations, including Best Music, Best Lyrics and won the award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance; the Lucille Lortel Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical; the Obie Award for Outstanding Music and Lyrics; a Theatre World Award for Outstanding Debut Performance and the Clarence Derwent Award, both for Mr. Miranda's performance. He is the recipient of the 2007 ASCAP Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award. TV/film: "The Sopranos," "Sex and the City".

KING SHERMAN (Performer)
BILL SHERMAN won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Orchestrations for In the Heights. He earned a Drama Desk nomination for In the Heights Off-Broadway. He was also the composer for the second season of MTV's "Gamekillers." Arranger: A Night for Comden and Green; Lover, Liar, Lady. Music preparation: Captain Louie; Bare: A Pop Opera; Zanna, Don't! Bill traveled with FLS to the Aspen, Edinburgh, Melbourne and Montreal comedy festivals.

SHOCKWAVE (Performer)
Chris Sullivan has been a beatboxer for 8 years and a lover of music, improvisation and bike riding all of his life. He works regularly with Beatboxer Entertainment, Manhattan Comedy Collective and GoldiShack Recordings. He studied with The People's Improv Theater, The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, and teachers of Chicago's Annoyance Theater. You can catch "Shock" on the new version of Sesame Workshop's The Electric Company premiering on PBS in January 2009. Special thanks to Foxboro High School Music Director Steve Massey, the cast of Goonies, and MacGyver.

TWO-TOUCH (Co-Creator/Performer)
Anthony Veneziale, conceiver of Freestyle Love Supreme, is also the Associate Artistic Director and a founder of Back House Productions proud developers of In the Heights. Stage credits: Servicemen (The New Group); Seven Rabbits on a Pole (Urban Stages), The Subject Tonight is Love (MTC in San Francisco). TV credits: All My Children (ABC); Sex and the City (HBO) Very Funny Live (TBS) and the upcoming The New Electric Company (PBS): Film: Che! (dir. Steven Soderbergh) and The Top Floor (an independent film which he also directed). Anthony has started a west coast freestyle show called The Freeze in San Francisco and is a part of Lekker Media (www.lekkermedia.com).

UTK the INC (Performer)
Utkarsh Ambudkar is a Emcee/Poet/Actor born in Baltimore by way of India who now resides in Brooklyn. Theater credits include Ali in History of the Word at Crossroads Theatre, Dennis in The Me Nobody Knows at the Vineyard Theatre, Liz Swados’ Mentle Missles at The Culture Project and Nelly Nell in the US premiere of Welcome to Arroyo’s at the Lark Theatre, NYC Hip Hop Theatre Festival and Queens Theatre in the Park. Film Credits include roles in Rocket Science directed by Jeffrey Blitz as Ram, Spinning into Butter, and Nikash in Coming Soon.

THOMAS KAIL (Co-Creator/Director)
THOMAS KAIL was the recipient of SSDC’s 2007 Joe A. Callaway Award and was nominated for Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for his direction of the Off-Broadway production of In the Heights. He is directing the world premiere of the play Broke-ology at the Williamstown Theater Festival in July 2008. He is the artistic director and co-founder of Back House Productions, the resident theatre company of NYC’s the Drama Book Shop. Recent work has been seen at NYC’s Ars Nova, HBO Comedy Festival, the Cherry Lane Theatre (Mentor Project), Edinburgh Fringe, Flea Theatre, Melbourne Comedy Festival, O’Neill Musical Theatre Conference. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University, CT. Mr. Kail was the recipient of the 2008 Martin E. Segal Award from Lincoln Center.
