Actress & Comedian Janeane Garofalo has been a much lauded and notable performer since she burst on the scene 1992. In addition to acting in film and television, Janeane is a well-known stand-up comedian known & respected around the country, and the world.

Janeane most recently received rave reviews for her role as campaign manager Louise Thornton on NBC’s "The West Wing". She has had many memorable and critically acclaimed roles in films such as “The Truth About Cats and Dogs”, “Steal This Movie”, “Copland,” “Reality Bites,” and “Duane Hopwood,” as well as for her specific brand of sharp wit and comedy shown in her roles in “Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion” “Bye Bye Love” “Mystery Men”, “Clay Pigeons”, “The Minus Man” and “The Cable Guy”, directed by her friend Ben Stiller. Ben and Janeane also co-authored the best seller “Feel This Book,” (Ballantine May 1999). Janeane was also a cast member of the Emmy Award-winning Ben Stiller Show.

Janeane played the role of Paula, the acerbic talent booker, on “The Larry Sanders Show,” for which she received an Emmy nomination in 1997 and two Cable Ace nominations. During the fall of '94 she joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live.” Some of Janeane's other television work includes two specials for HBO, and the series finale of “Mad About You”.

Janeane also recently worked for Air America as the co-host of the Majority Report with Sam seder.

Special Guest MARC MARON:
Marc Maron - Marc Maron is a standup comic, actor, and writer who has appeared in countless clubs, in film, and off-Broadway and is the author of The Jerusalem Syndrome (based on his one-man show). After co-hosting "Morning Sedition" on Air America Radio, he hosted the short lived Marc Maron Show out of LA on KTLK AM 1150.

Maron is known for his incisive cultural and political commentary, mystical ruminations, and neurotic insights into human nature. Born in New Jersey and raised in Albuquerque, NM, Marc started his comedy career in the late 1980s in Hollywood, California, as a doorman at the famed standup venue The Comedy Store. He has since lived in Boston, San Francisco, and New York City, where he co-founded possibly the first alternative comedy event, "Eating It", with friend and comedy star Janeane Garafalo at the Luna Lounge.

Marc has appeared on just about every TV show that will allow comics, from The Late Show with David Letterman to Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where he is a special favorite.
